What does it mean by BACP counsellor?

I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) . I abide by their ethical framework, morals and principles to ensure I work ethically, safely and competently. Being a member ensures I provide a good practice, review my fitness to practise, abide by legal duties and show accountability.

How can I help you?

My role is to support you in exploring together any issues you feel overwhelming or uncomfortable with, enabling you to come to an understanding and be able to make the changes you need.

Offering an integrative approach, to implement several modalities of counselling, providing the flexibility and knowledge to work with a range of skills and techniques that are best suited to you as an individual. This allows flexibility and allows our sessions to work around what you need most.

Education

• Level 4 diploma in Counselling
• BSC Honours; Psychology and Counselling
• CPD Certificates in Trauma, FASD and neurodiversity
  

Work Experience

• 100 + hours working with clients
• Working with ASD children and adults
• Working with different mental health issues including anxiety and depression
